THIS POSITION IS OPEN TO ALL CANDIDATES GENERAL DESCRIPTION: The Human Resources Generalist - Recruiter supports Green River Community College’s goal of building internal capacity by partnering with internal and external clients in the efforts to strategically recruit and staff administrative, exempt, classified and full-time faculty positions. Responsible for the development, implementation, and effective use of the college’s online recruitment/staffing tool. The position reports to the Human Resource Recruitment / Training Manager. TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: This is a cyclic, 9 month per year, 40 hour per week, FLSA Exempt position. Cyclic work schedule is September 16th through June 15th. Typical work week schedule is Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The cyclic prorated salary range starts at $3,377 with periodic increment increases up to $4,429. Appointment may be increased in the future based on business needs. Occasionally hours will vary to meet business needs. A union shop agreement exists for this position which requires membership in the Washington Federation of State Employees within 30 days of hire. Appointment to the position includes a state benefits package of employer-paid health and dental plans, participation in a Washington State Department of Retirement Systems plan, sick leave, vacation, and paid holidays. Other fringe benefits include tuition exemption, convenient daycare, and on-campus fitness center.
