POSITION PURPOSE: Holman Library at Green River Community College is seeking a reference/instruction librarian with a strong commitment to service to meet the information and research needs of a changing student population. This population includes a growing number of international, online, under-prepared and under-represented students. BASIC DESCRIPTION: This is a full-time tenure-track faculty position beginning mid September 2010. A separate summer contract is available dependent on funding. The faculty librarian reports to the Director of Library and Media Services and is a member of the Humanities Division. TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: This is a full-time, tenure-track nine month position beginning mid September 2010. The salary will be determined according to applicant’s educational background, teaching experience, and applicable work experience. GRCC is an agency shop.
