The Workforce Education Department through its four grants: Worker Retraining, Basic Food and Employment Training, WorkFirst and Opportunity Grant, funds the training of individuals pursuing degrees and certificates in Professional and Technical programs. The Workforce Education grants pay for tuition, books, and fees. To self-qualify, please use this link: Go To College For Free Workshop.

Confused about the FAFSA? Not sure what the difference is between loan, grants, and scholarships? Wondering how to apply for any of those? This Financial Aid Information Session will cover different types of aid, how to apply, and application assistance with the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid). If planning to complete the FAFSA, please bring your income information.

Once the session is over, students have the option to stay for a group planning session where they can map out a quarter-by-quarter plan.
