- Prices effective fall 2009 through summer 2010
- *Fees include $60 Technology, $35 Facilities, and $39 Special Services/Student Center
- Tuition based on 12 - 18 credits and varies according to classes and number of credits taken
- Intensive English Program full-time tuition is $2,884. The optional Academic Bridge Program fee is an additional $200 per quarter.
- Health insurance is required for all international students and is available through the college for a fee of $195 per quarter.
Paying Your Tuition
- Tuition and fees are due after you register.
- You may pay by credit card, cashier's check, money order, wire transfer, personal check (from a U.S. bank) or traveler’s check. To pay by credit card, use the Credit Card Payment Authorization form.
- If you cannot pay by the start of each quarter, it is important that you talk to an advisor before you register. A late fee is applied if tuition is not paid in a timely manner.
Housing Costs
Health Insurance
You are required to have health insurance. You can buy it from the college for $195 per quarter or you can bring proof of your own health insurance from your home country. Proof of personal health insurance must be presented by the first day of the quarter, in English, and must show the following:- Medical coverage per accident or sickness of at least $50,000
- Deductible per accident or sickness of no more than $100
- Repatriation coverage of at least $10,000
Scholarships
Green River Community College offers many International Student Scholarships to both new and current students. Scholarships are awarded as partial tuition waivers and on campus work grants. Scholarship awards range from $250 to more than $5,000 and are dependent on the type and duration of the award.New and prospective international students are those who have applied for admission but have not yet attended classes full time at Green River Community College. Refund Policy
The $50 application fee is non-refundable. The $300 housing placement fee is refundable upon request if student cancels application 2 weeks prior to Housing/Move-in-Day or does not use the I-20 to enter the U.S. To request a refund, please complete the Refund Request Form.Applicants from Sweden
Please note that students from Sweden have received financial aid from Centrala StudieStödsnämnden (CSN) to attend Green River Community College.
