Nitish Duggal - India
Nitish Duggal is an Academic
student from India.
Nitish Duggal
is from India. He came to
Green River Community College in the
spring of 2009 and is majoring in
Computer Science.
"I have wanted to
study abroad since 11th grade," said
Nitish. "After I convinced my
parents, we met with an agent who
recommended GRCC because it is a
good school and close to Microsoft,
Amazon and Boeing. My parents picked
GRCC because it fit their budget."
Nitish is very
involved on campus. He currently
works part-time for International
Programs as a Front Office Assistant and as a Housing Assistant. He has also worked for the
Information Technology Department at the IT Helpdesk.
He participated in Student Government as the by-law Committee Senator last year and now
is the President of the Cricket
Club.
"I love playing
cricket. GRCC is the only community
college in the nation with a cricket
team. We are part of the
Northwest Cricket League and
play teams from Microsoft, Boeing,
and other organizations."
"GRCC is a great
place to live, study and play
cricket. I like it so much. If I had
to choose a college again, it
would be this one."
Nitish's goal is to
transfer to
Seattle University in the
spring.
