Youngme Yoon (Mimi) - South Korea
"I'm ready to make a
difference," says Mimi.
Mimi Yoon is this year’s
winner of the
International Student
Award. Only 17 years old, she has already
made her mark at Green River Community
College.
She received her award for
her work as an International
Student Ambassador and as the
President of the GRCC Music Club, which she started.
The club has performed in Seattle and
Auburn.
After finishing the
High School
Completion Plus program here at GRCC, Mimi
is now majoring in Pre-Med, hoping to
become a doctor later in life.

to make a difference in the world by
becoming a great doctor in integrative
medicine.”
