Our 2010 SUSI on Women’s Leadership focuses on leadership, empowerment and change in an American context, as fundamental to the improved status of individuals, groups and societies – and as such they warrant special attention in this program. Your challenge will be to apply what you learn – especially in relation to women’s leadership issues – to your own situation in your home country. This will be important for the development agenda we propose towards the end of the program as a guide to the follow-up activities to be conducted as a result of the SUSI program.
