Library Instruction

There are several for-credit classes offered that teach students how to use library resources. The librarians also offer a variety of single-session classes upon request by faculty members. For a good description of what the options you have, take a look at the online request form.

Assignments that require library research will be much more effective if the librarians are prepared to support your students’ efforts (not do the work for them).To better help your students, please provide the librarians with information about your assignment. The Library Assignment Planner is a good way to communicate with the librarians about your student's assignment.
