Course Reserves Information for Students

Reserve materials include books, reprints of articles, class notes, videos, cassette tapes, etc. They are placed in the library by instructors to support specific classes. These materials have limited loan periods and may be restricted to library use only in order to make them available to a large number of students in a short period of time. They are frequently the personal property of instructors, who determine the terms of library use and how long they remain in the library.

Reserve materials are located at the circulation desk. Ask for them by course title and number, instructor's name, and title. All reserve items must be checked out in order to be taken from the desk, regardless of the loan period.
