Newspapers

Newspapers, including The News Tribune, South County Journal, Seattle Times, and Wall Street Journal are available in the library. The most recent week's worth of each newspaper is upstairs in the Current Periodicals section; back issues are kept behind the Circulation desk. Check the Holman Library Catalog to see how long back issues are kept for each newspaper.

Copiers

Copy machines are located on both floors of the library to copy materials. Accessories (hole punch, paper cutter, stapler, etc.) for assembling copied material are located near the copiers and at the circulation desk.

Phones

There are two public phones available on the second floor of the library (there are none on the first floor).

There is a public access phone located in the lobby of the library building, between the library entrance and the computer labs, which is available for local and on-campus calls under 10 minutes (calls longer than 10 minutes will be cut off if others are waiting to use the phone).

Computers

Holman Library has over 100 computers for student use. Computers are available on a first-come, first-served basis, and have research tools, Microsoft Office, and full Internet access. Also, the library provides wireless Internet access for your laptop (ask about this at the reference desk upstairs). All computer users are subject to our Acceptable Use Policy (see below).
