Item Type	Overdue Fines	Grace Period	Replacement Cost
Main Collection, Basic Skills, Oversized and New Books	25¢ per day	7 days -- $2.00 due on the 8th day	Replacement cost plus $10.00 processing fee.
Course Reserve--Hourly checkout	5¢ per minute	30 minutes -- $1.50 due after 30 minutes	Replacement cost plus $10.00 processing fee.
Course Reserve--Daily checkout	$1.00 per day	1 day -- $2.00 due on the 2nd day	Replacement cost plus $10.00 processing fee.
Telecourse and VHS / DVD Sets	$1.00 per day per tape or DVD set	1 day -- $2.00 due on the 2nd day	$100.00 to replace the set. If one tape or disk is missing from the set, the missing tape or disk is prorated.
DVDs and VHS	Library-use-only materials: 5¢ per minute 3-day checkouts: $1.00 per day	Library-use-only materials: 30 minutes -- $1.50 due after 30 minutes 3-day checkouts: 1 day -- $2.00 due on the 2nd day	Replacement cost plus $10.00 processing fee.
Sound CDs	25¢ per day	1 day -- 50¢ due on the 2nd day	Replacement cost plus $10.00 processing fee.

Note: Holman Library reserves the right to change these costs without notice.

Fines will be charged for damaged items--a minimum of $5.00. See Damaged Materials information for more details.

When total fines are equal to or greater than $5.00, a block will be placed on library privileges and on the ability to register for or drop classes.

When fines have not been paid after 60 days, the patron's debt will be sent to a collections agency. This includes community borrowers, students, staff and faculty.
