Finding and Using eBooks

Holman Library has a collection of over 25,000 electronic books (eBooks). You can access these eBooks in three ways:

• Search records for both collections using the Holman Library Catalog
  Any search in the catalog may return electronic books in the results list. You can restrict your catalog search to only electronic books by using the "Limit To" drop down menu and choosing eBooks. eBooks will have a location of Electronic Book.
  
  
• Search full text in eBooks on EBSCOhost
  eBooks on EBSCOhost contains over 4,900 ebooks in Nursing & Allied Health, Business, Criminal Justice, Computer & Information Technology, Science, and History. eBooks on EBSCOhost also has guides to popular career paths and basic instruction books for trades programs such as automotive, construction & broadcasting. Log-in with your GRCC ID number for off-campus access.

  ebrary contains over 21,000 eBooks in Business, Criminal Justice, Computer Technologies, Nursing & Allied Health, Life Sciences, Physical Sciences, History, Anthropology, Career Development, and College Success & Testing Guides. Log-in with your GRCC ID number for off-campus access.
  
  

Free Online Books

Here's a list of web sites with free electronic books. Some are available in languages other than English.  A special reader or plug-in may be required.

Over 20,000 online books, including many in non-English languages.

Primarily literature, reference and verse.

Read Easily

Online books in html; accessible to the visually impaired.
