Open Computer Lab

The Information Commons is an open computer lab located on the second floor of the Holman Library Building.

During open hours the Information Commons Reference Desk is staffed by Faculty Librarians who are available to help with information and research. Student workers provide additional technology and computing assistance.

Group Study Rooms

There are three group study rooms available on a first-come, first-serve basis to small groups of students.  Located on the second floor.

Library Classroom

The library classroom in HL 213 is a Silent Zone.  No talking or cell phone use, please.  It is an open computing lab when no class is in session.  Located on the second floor.

Silent Study Room

If you need an absolutely quiet space to work or study alone, head to the Silent Study Room.  Located on the first floor.

Holman Library does not offer tutoring services; however, there are several places on campus that offer free tutoring resources to currently enrolled GRCC students.

• Tutoring and Resource Center: Provides assistance with all subject areas except math. Location: Holman Library, 2nd floor.
• Writing Center: Provides assistance with writing. Location: Rutkowski Learning Center (RLC) in RLC 173. The Writing Center also has online tutoring help available.
• Math Learning Center: Provides assistance with math. Location: SMT, 3rd floor, SMT 355
• Speaking Center: Provides one-on-one coaching for presentation skills. Location: Holman Library, 1st floor.
