We provide a number of low-cost programs to help participants transition to college and build life skills. Tuition Assistance for Pre-College ProgramsThe Green River Community College High School Completion program can help you complete your high school education. Reduced tuition is available for those students 19 years or older or whose high school class has graduated. Learn more about our high school diploma program. GED preparation classes are available to help you successfully pass the GED exam. Classes are $25.00 per quarter, and are offered both days and evenings, at locations on and off campus. Green River is a test site for the GED exam. Please contact the Assessment & Testing Center at 253-833-9111, ext. 2650. Learn more about our GED program and testing. ABE classes are designed for adults who may have experienced educational gaps and who want to improve employment opportunities by refreshing or learning basic skills in English, writing, reading, and math. Learn more about our ABE program. ESOL classes are designed for non-native speaking adults who want to improve their English language fluency, reading, writing, speaking, listening, and basic computer literacy. Classes provide life skills, job skills, and preparation for academic classes. Classes are available in the morning, afternoon, and evening at the college and at several off-campus sites.
