GRCC Concert Series Debuts Nov. 19 |
Françoise Papillon performs November 19.
The first in a series of special concerts presented by Green River Community College's Fine Arts Department will take place on Monday, November 19 with a performance by Pianist Françoise Papillon. The concert begins at 8:00 p.m. in the college’s Bleha Center for Performing Arts (PA). View the Main Campus Map. Tickets can be purchased at the door and are $10 for the general public and $5 with a valid GRCC ID. Green River Community College is located at 12401 SE 320th Street in Auburn. Papillon, a native of Montreal, has studied and performed in both Europe and America. She will be performing familiar and rarely heard works by Beethoven, Chopin, Gottschalk, Liszt, and Ravel. The World of Music concert series is made possible by the Robert L. Youells Art and Music Endowment Fund. Upcoming performances include Traditional North Indian Dhrupad Music on January 30 and Latin Jazz by Sonando on May 7. |
