On Wednesday (April 9) the C-SPAN 2008 Campaign Bus will roll up to Kennelly Commons at Green River Community College allowing students, employees and visitors a glimpse of the presidential election through the lens of the public affairs national cable television channel.

“We are the only national media outlet that presents an unfiltered and unbiased look at presidential politics,” said C-SPAN’s Tamara Robinson of the cable channel’s unedited footage of political discourse.

The C-SPAN bus will be on campus from 3-5 p.m. in the Kennelly Commons. The bus features several interactive demonstrations about C-SPAN programming, media literacy skills and the 2008 presidential election, according to Robinson. Local programming crews may be available to tape segments from the bus.
