UW Alumni Association Honors GRCC's Hopkins

Natural Resources instructor Dick Hopkins was recently named recipient of the Distinguished Achievement Award by the University of Washington College of Forest Resources Alumni Association.

The award was presented by Bob Dick, alumni association president, who cited Hopkins dedication and work in helping to make the GRCC program the premier forestry program in the state.

Last month, the college’s Natural Resources program was named the Society of American Foresters Top Student Chapter in the country. Hopkins has taught at Green River since 1994.
