Events at Green River
The Transfer Center invites in state and out of state university reps to give Green River students information on admissions and departmental requirements, applications, financial aid, tours and other resources to ensure a smooth transfer. This is a great opportunity to explore prospective universities and get your questions answered. We plan a variety of events throughout the year that assist students in the transfer process.

College Open Houses
Many schools will arrange individual visits with prospective students. If a school you are interested in is not listed below please contact the admissions department of the university to inquire about their campus visitation options.
CWU offers a variety of opportunities for prospective students to visit campus & meet with admissions representatives. Central Sampler Days, an overnight program that includes a campus tour and meetings with admissions & financial aid representatives, is just one opportunity to experience CWU.

You'll have the opportunity to get all your questions answered in group sessions and in one-on-one conversations.
- Meet with financial aid representatives who will help you make sense of your financial options.
- Take a guided campus tour.
- Sit down with transfer experts who can talk to you about your specific situation.
- Speak with a representative from your program of study to learn more about your program and potential careers.

Students can drop in for campus tours M - F at 11 am and 2:30. They also have walk up admissions counseling from 1 to 3 M - F. For Information Sessions Evergreen asks that students RSVP in advance through our admissions website. Students can also sign up for class visits or overnight stays through our admissions website. During Fall and Winter quarters Evergreen hosts 2 mini open house events per quarter. They are called "Fridays at Evergreen" and they are half day events that involve information sessions, tours and student and faculty panels. Evergreen's big Open House, Preview Day, is on a Saturday in January and includes tours, information sessions on specific subject areas and sessions on financial aid, housing and other student services.
Pacific Lutheran University is open for daily visits year-round, Monday through Friday. PLU is also open Saturdays during the school year from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. To experience a typical day as a PLU student, try to avoid weekends, vacation times, and the first and last two weeks of each term.

Saint Martin’s University is open to visitors Monday-Friday from 8am-4pm, with guided tours available twice daily. Students have the option of talking with an admissions counselor, sitting in on a class, meeting with a professor or coach, and enjoying coffee or lunch from our dining hall. There are also numerous campus visit events throughout the year, including our Spirit Days and Spirit Fridays, Saturday visits, and drop-in advising hours, all of which are free! Students who are interested in transferring to SPU are encouraged to attend a Transfer Open House. You'll have an opportunity to meet current students who transferred to SPU, as well as SPU staff and faculty. You'll also learn about the transfer process and meet with our transfer admissions team. Feel free to bring your transcript if you'd like it evaluated.
Tour campus, eat lunch in Gwinn Commons, meet faculty and students, and learn about the admissions process - all during an SPU Friday.
The cornerstone of every Puget Sound visit is a two-hour session that includes both an information session led by an admission counselor and a student-led campus tour. These sessions are offered each weekday at 9:00 am, 11:00 am, and 1:00 pm, with the exception of university holidays. Sessions are also offered on Saturdays during the academic year (September through April) at 9:00 am and 11:00 am. Bothell Campus Visits are offered Monday through Friday (except holidays) at 3 pm and include a brief Information Session and Campus Tour. During the Information Session, you will learn about academic programs, student support services, and the application process. After the Information Session, you will partake in a walking tour of campus where you will see classrooms, science labs, student life facilities, housing and more! All tours are led by current students who will provide you with an insiders point of view and are happy to answer any questions you may have about becoming a future Husky at UW Bothell.
Information sessions are available each Thursday. An Admissions Counselor will join a Gateway Center Advisor in hosting these sessions specifically tailored to meet the needs of community college transfer students.
