Cooperative Education Internship ProgramUnsure about how to get work experience? Changing careers or upgrading your skills? Joining the Cooperative Education Internship Program (Co-op) can help you get started on the path. Co-op is a partnership among employers, students, and faculty designed to provide you with work experience and academic credit toward a degree program for paid or unpaid employment in a job related to your field of study. Work Study jobs may also qualify. You will be assigned a faculty member to guide you through the work-based learning process. You, your instructor, and your job site supervisor will develop and agree upon learning objectives integrating classroom instruction with hands-on experience. You may also register for Co-op 171, an online seminar that prepares you for your job search. To get started please contact Karen Brasch about attending an orientation. |
