Hey Everyone!

My name is Marycarmen Becerra-Nunez and I am this year's Diversity Services Student Coordinator. I am a returning member to the CLEO Program and I am looking forward to meeting all of you. This year I am hoping to program events that will bring people together and focus more on their similarities rather than their differences. My goal is to gain knowledge of student's struggles on campus and report back to the various committees I sit on, including the President's Commission on Diversity. I work alongside the Diversity and Multicultural Affairs office in order to promote change and progress on our campus. Please feel free to stop by the Student life office and say hello anytime or e-mail me with any questions about cultural clubs and services offered on campus. I will do my best to improve the challenges our students face and be an advocate for all who are underrepresented. Like Jimmy Carter once said "We become not a melting pot but a beautiful mosaic. Different people, different beliefs, different yearnings, different hopes, different dreams".
