What's Happening?

Hi everybody! My name is Livia Muller and I am this year's International Activities Programmer. I am originally from Switzerland, but as I decided to study International/Global Studies as my major which isn't offered in my home country yet, I came to the United States one year ago. I have been attending Green River Community College since last fall, and after my graduation next spring I plan to transfer to a four-year university. Choosing Green River as the start of my American academic pathway appears to be one of the best decisions I've made in my life. It not only provides students with an excellent academic education but also offers a huge variety of exciting programs and events to participate in besides sitting in a classroom all day. Therefore I cannot emphasize enough how thrilled I am to now be a part of the CLEO team which organizes this awesome student life. The activities I am planning are especially focused on bringing international and domestic students together by experiencing each others' culture and simply having a great time. Funnily, those are exactly two of my passions. Besides playing volleyball, keeping up with the latest fashion trends, and spending time with people I care about, getting to know individuals of other ethnicities or backgrounds as well as having lots of fun is what I love doing the most. So hopefully we can enjoy this together - I am already looking forward to meeting each one of you.
