Hi everyone, another exciting academic year has begun and so does the new Student Life Outdoor Programs! My name is Eric Januar and this is my second year at Green River Community College. I was born and raised in Jakarta, Indonesia. I first came to the United States and also Green River right on Christmas of 2006. It has been a really wonderful two years here at GRCC. My biggest dream for the upcoming year is to transfer to MIT in the fall of 2009. This is my second year as a CLEO member and also as the Outdoor Programs Coordinator which I am really proud of. I am really grateful for all the great experiences Y knowledge that I have gained so far. I am still looking forward for more lessons to learn this year. I am very excited to meet each and every one of you, especially in our amusing and thrilling activities. Various exciting upcoming Outdoor Program events for this year are Capture the Flag, Fantastic Fun Day at the Tukwila Family Fun Center, Holiday Lights in Leavenworth, Big White Ski & Snowboard trip, Ice skating at the Kent Valley Ice Center, Snoqualmie Ski & Snowboard, Snow Cave Camping, Paintball, Whitewater rafting, Scuba Diving and much more. I hope you will participate in each and every activity all around the college and truly be a part of GRCC! When I am not working or going to school, I really love to hang out with my friends and just relax. Hopefully I will be able to make more friends from all over the world, since GRCC is a really diverse place! If you guys have any questions and ideas of some outdoor events that you would like to do, don't hesitate to contact me. I'll be really happy to hear that.
