Hola, my name is Megan Borjesson and I'm your ‘07-‘08 ASGRCC Student Body Vice President. This is my second year attending Green River Community College. This is also my second year on the Women’s Basketball Team here.  Next fall of 2008, I plan to transfer to Northwest University where I would like to major in Physical Education or Youth Ministries. It is a dream of mine to run my own summer church camp for kids one day.

As the Vice President, I chair the weekly senate meetings and administer the student senate. I strongly encourage everyone to attend the meetings from 12-1 in the Rainier Room (located on the second floor of the Lindbloom Student Center) on Wednesdays and Thursdays. We are always looking for additional student input and participation; we also address concerns or issues. As vice president, I am committed to listening to students concerns regarding issues on campus. I believe that one of my most important jobs will be to advocate  for students and be open to their suggestions.

Makin the most out of a college experience is what I am most passionate about at Green River, and I know the more someone gets involved the more opportunities there are for unforgettable memories. If anyone ever wants to get a hold of me about any concerns at Green River, I am an e-mail or a phone call away. The Student Government Office located on the 2nd floor of the Lindbloom Student Center, with Student Programs.  Don’t hesitate to come in and ask questions.
