There's more to college than attending classes, studying and taking exams. Much of what you learn in college comes from experiences outside the classroom. By challenging yourself and participating in various campus activities, you learn valuable life skills. Teamwork, goal setting, effective communication, and time management are some of the skills you're sure to develop when you get involved in campus life. These skills ensure success in any field in the years to follow. That's where Student Life comes in. There's something going on every day-lectures, club meetings, concerts, student government, intramural sports. Do you like to go snow boarding, meet new people, play basketball or watch movies on a weekend? There are others on campus who share your hobbies or interests. Would you like to know a great way to find them? Keep reading. Many students find others with common interests by getting involved on campus with Student Life - clubs, forums, musical entertainment, and other special events. These provide opportunities for high quality fun at a low cost. The events are all coordinated by students, so you can get involved not only by participating, but also by producing the activities. Gain practical experience in leadership while having fun. Check out what you can get involved in on our Facebook Page.
