What's Happening?

Gary Taylor, director, actor, and writer brings you Theatre Extemporé which presents contemporary and original dramatic works. Over the years, Taylor, professional guest directors, student casts and crews have presented variations on Shakespeare, Broadway musicals, and Northwest premiers. By registering for Green River's drama classes, you can audition and proceed through the selection process for cast roles and crew positions. The Theatre Extemporé experience provides students with the chance to participate in all aspects of producing a high quality theatre production.

Fall 2008

The Odd Couple
Nov. 28-30 and Dec. 5-7
Felix Unger is maddeningly fastidious: Oscar Madison is an incorrigible slob. When the two divorced New Yorkers decide to share an apartment, hilarity ensues for the odd couple.

Winter 2009

The Curious Savage
March 6-7 and 13-14

Mrs. Ethel Savage would like to give away her recently inherited fortune; her children think she's crazy and try to have her committed. But the kindly widow has a crafty plan to outwit her greedy offspring.

Spring 2009

The Merry Wives of Windsor
May 29-30 and June 5-6
Shakespeare's favorite rowdy bad boy, Sir John Falstaff, creates merry mayhem among the lusty wives of Windsor's Garter Inn.
