Paris
has captured the imagination of Americans perhaps more
than any other city in the world. It conjures up notions
of style and romance, self-discovery, bohemianism and
love, revolution, tradition and exile, haute couture and
starving artists. For the student living and
learning here, education is not limited to the
classroom. Politics and philosophy are still hotly
debated in Left Bank cafes. The street culture of
Paris, with open-air markets, vibrant city squares and
incessant parade of humanity provides endless
opportunity to discover oneself and the human spirit.
Paris has countless museums and historical treasures to
bring history to life.
