College Open Houses

Information sessions are available each Thursday in the Undergraduate Gateway Center in the Mary Gates Hall, room 171. An Admissions Counselor will join a Gateway Center Advisor in hosting these sessions specifically tailored to meet the needs of community college transfer students. WSU offers several opportunities throughout the year to visit their campus. Please refer to the Student Visits page on the WSU site to choose a visitation program that best fits your needs.

WWU provides transfer students the opportunity to tour campus, visit academic departments, speak with current students and meet with admissions advisors during their Western Transfer Days program. Transfer Days will be taking place this year on the following dates:

• November 8, 2007

• March 6, 2008

• July 17, 2008

CWU offers a variety of opportunities for prospective students to visit campus & meet with admissions representatives. Central Sampler Days, an overnight program that includes a campus tour and meetings with admissions & financial aid representatives, is just one opportunity to experience CWU. Please refer to the Central Visitation Program site for more information.

Open House gives you a chance to meet faculty, staff, and students; learn about opportunities and programs; and explore the many facilities that EWU has to offer.

We are open for daily visits year-round Monday through Friday. We are also open Saturdays during the school year from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. To experience a typical day as a PLU student, try to avoid weekends, vacation times, and the first and last two weeks of each term. Please bring a sleeping bag, pillow, towel and a book to read – your host is a college student who will have homework.

Transfer Visit Afternoons for 2007-08:

This is a special afternoon visit just for prospective transfer students. Come and hear from the Transfer Admissions Counselor about the admissions and scholarship process. You will also take a tour of campus and have the opportunity for many questions to be answered.
