Getting Started
There are many students that have difficulty with various subjects in college. Once you fall behind, getting caught up can be very difficult. That is why GRCC offers free tutoring services and resources to help. Here are some of the more commonly asked questions.
If you are having trouble keeping up with your classes, you can get free tutoring at the Tutoring and Resource Center.
There’s no need to sign up for tutoring. Just stop by the center on the 2nd floor of the Holman Library, and sign in with your student identification number at the front desk to receive tutoring.
You will need to sign in and sign out each time you visit our center.

We offer tutoring in English, science, computer science, business, philosophy, psychology, foreign language, and basic skills.
If we don’t offer tutoring in your subject, just let the tutoring staff know. We will do our best to arrange it as soon as possible.
All Green River students can receive free tutoring.
So that you can get the most out of your tutoring session, make sure you bring your SID number and all related subject-related coursework, books, notes, and questions.
Besides being a place to get one-on-one tutoring and extra help with school subjects, the Tutoring and Resource Center is also a great place to study. The center is also equipped with handouts, supervised study tables, and a computer lab, so you can type papers and do research on the Internet.
