Global Accessibility Awareness Day (GAAD) Brown Bag Workshop

Do you have questions about what accessibility is, why it matters or how to get started? Drop in today from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. to discuss your specific or broad questions about accessibility topics and tasks while we celebrate the seventh annual Global Accessibility Awareness Day (GAAD) with a hands-on brown bag discussion and workshop.

Participants will make connections with other people interested in accessibility in the digital age while learning tips on how to make materials (including Word documents, Canvas pages and more) accessible for all users.

  • Date: May 17, 2018
  • Time: 11 a.m. – 2 p.m.
  • Place: Holman Library, 116

Participation is open to the college community and general public. We encourage you to bring examples of documents in need of remediation and any questions you might have about accessibility.
