Latofat Uzbekova & Sitora Pulatova

SUSI 2016

Latofat and Sitora organized the “I Have a Dream” project to train and inspire 15 young student leaders from Khujand, Tajikistan. The 3-day workshop was comprised of leadership trainings and guest lectures on gender equality and domestic violence in Tajikistan. Elements of the leadership training included key skills such as listening and public speaking. The guest speaker, who directs the non-profit “Women’s Center Gulruhsor”, inspired participants to get involved with women’s issues and conduct their own trainings, seminars and workshops on the subject.
