Zuhra

Zuhra

Tajikistan, SUSI 2017

An aspiring teacher, Zuhra really connected with the content she studied in the SUSI program through reading the "Anatomy of Peace" and “Leadership Secrets of Hilary Clinton” books. Before leaving the U.S., she decided to take on the challenge of training local citizens in her hometown of Khorog on the leadership concepts in these books. After a few months of teaching lessons to women, she received requests from several men who were also interested in the content. So she opened the classes to include men and the classes have been equally as successful as they were in the beginning. Zuhra has conducted numerous ongoing classes and continues to reach more students every day.
