I am pleased to announce a new UTP partner: International Management Institute Switzerland! Here’s a short description from IMI:
Ranked number 12 worldwide on the QS world rankings for hospitality education in 2019, IMI Switzerland is your ideal choice for a degree in hotel, tourism, events, culinary, business or marketing management. Switzerland is renowned for hospitality education and the study model is 6 months academic semester, followed by a 6 month paid internship experience in Switzerland or overseas.
Switzerland is a very safe country and IMI provides accommodation and food on campus in beautiful Kastanienbaum, just outside the city of Luzern, in the German-speaking part of Switzerland. All classes are taught in English and the programmes are validated by a prestigious UK university.
With around 320 students per year, hailing from 40+ countries, you are assured a multicultural environment, as well as personal attention and guidance for your academic studies, internship and job placements.
If students complete Green River College's Associate in Business Degree, they have the opportunity to complete a BA with Honors in either Business/Marketing or in International Hotel and Tourism Management in as little as two years! The biggest advantage of these two degrees is that they require paid internships that are all coordinated on an individual basis with a staff member at IMI. After speaking with the staff at IMI, I get the sense that our students would get the same level of personal attention and the family-like atmosphere that they get here. Also, our students are guaranteed a scholarship of 2,000 CHF (equivalent to $2000) per semester!
