International Activities Assistant
I was born and raised in Toronto, Canada. While studying for my degree in Physical Education, I took up the sport of fencing and was able to achieve a position on the Canadian National Fencing Squad. This allowed me to travel and compete in countries all around the world. After obtaining my Bachelors of Education, I moved to BC, Canada, where I taught 7th Grade and took up coaching children the art of fencing. In order to cross-train, I started boxing, became a member of the BC Provincial team, and competed nationally. I met my American husband at a fencing competition, got married and re-located to the US, where I taught Physical Education to grades K to 8 at a private school in North Seattle. I enjoy spending time with my active daughter, eating good food, reading and watching home renovation shows. I am still fencing.
