Academic Registration Reminders

• Register for summer AND fall
• Use Schedule Planner to check for the most up-to-date class schedule information and to register for summer and fall
• If you need an entry code to register for a class, please go to the IP office

If you are concerned about passing one of your spring quarter classes, please come to the IP office to speak to an advisor. The last day to drop a class or change it to pass/no credit is Friday, May 25.

Major Exploration Workshop for IESL and Academic Students

Choosing a major is a big decision and some students need a little help. The Peer Volunteers are having a fun and interactive Major Exploration workshop tomorrow to help you think about different majors. Please sign up in the IP office.

Transfer Information

Are you transferring after spring quarter?
If you are transferring to another school this summer or fall, you need to come to the IP office to arrange your transfer with an advisor. Before you transfer, you must:

• Fill out an exit form with an advisor
• Give a copy of your acceptance letter from your new school to your advisor

Campus Corner Apartment Addresses

Some of the mail sent from the IP office to CCA apartments has been returned because of incorrect addresses. If your CCA address currently includes your room letter in addition to your apartment number, please go to Online Services and remove the room letter from your address.

Activities and Volunteering

Peer Volunteer applications are due this Friday, May 18 by 5:00 pm
Applications for summer and fall Peer Volunteers and Peer Volunteer Leaders are currently available in the IP office. Volunteers must meet the following requirements:

• Have attended GRCC for at least two quarters by the start of the program
• Plan to attend GRCC for at least two more quarters after the start of the program
• Be a good role model for new international students
• Have a positive attitude and a desire to learn more about leadership and helping others
• Leaders must have completed at least one quarter of Peer Volunteering

International Cultural Fair
Wednesday, May 30, 12:00-2:00 pm at the Commons in front of the LSC
Volunteers still needed to represent different cultures and heritages. Sign up by filling out the form in the ISA Talk (available in IP or Student Programs) or email Gabriella at glestari@greenriver.edu or Raj at bgurung@greenriver.edu. Forms are due to Student Programs by Monday, May 22 at 4:00 pm.
