IP Office Summer Hours
The IP office is open during regular office hours from 9:00
am to 5:00 pm from Monday through Thursday. There will be
no advising or support staff available on Fridays during the
summer quarter and students will not be able to have their I-20s signed.
John will be on vacation from 8/13-8/29/08
Alvin will be doing a recruiting trip in Indonesia and
Singapore from 7/30-8/15/08 and he will be on vacation through
8/23/08.
Advising Updates
Withdrawal
The last day to withdraw a class is August 1 (Friday).
Please note that no advisors will be available on 8/1/08. If you
need to drop a class, please see an advisor during our regular
office hour from Monday through Thursday.
Pass/Non-Credit
The last day to submit pass/non-credit petition to Enrollment
Services is August 1
I-20 Signatures For Travel
If you are planning to travel to Canada or outside of the US,
please remember to stop by the the IP office to get your I-20
signed.
SAT
If you are planning to take SAT, please visit
College Board to review the test dates and registration
deadlines. You can register online by going to
SAT Online Registration.
TOEFL
If you are planning to take the TOEFL test, please go to
TOEFL
Registration and register for your test. GRCC Kent campus is
a testing site and there is still availability for the October
test dates if you register early.
Facebook
The current IP Advising Facebook Group will be
converted to a Page Manager to better serve IP students.
Please go to
GRCC-IP Advising Facebook Group and become one of our fans.
Once you are a fan, you will get the most updated information on
scholarships, employment on campus, university transfer and
other interesting information that will enhance your GRCC
experience.
The Facebook Group will be discontinued after the end of the
summer quarter on 8/15/08.
MAPS
The next Math Advising Placement Session (MAPS) is scheduled
on August 12th at Building IVC 102 from 2-2:30 pm. Go to
the
Math Division Website to view sample Entrance Exams and
other future testing dates.
