Tax Information
For those of you who had a campus job in the year 2007,
you may have received a W-2 which lists your income for
2007. If you did not receive your W-2, you should
contact the GRCC payroll department. Students earning
income need to file a tax return using IRS from
1040NR-EZ.
Click
here to view a website with
easy to read information, instructions and a link to the
form. You may also choose to use a tax
professional such as H & R Block or a service such as
Cintax. International Programs staff members
are not tax professionals and are not qualified to give
tax advice.
Please note that some students do not show any taxes
withheld on their W-2. If you did not earn an excess of
$3400 and did not have taxes withheld from your income,
you are not eligible for a refund. You will need
to fill out the 8843, and you do not need to fill out
the 1040-EZ.
