Orientation Schedule - Overnight
Camping and Seattle Trip
International Students get a great
start at Green River with our one-week,
comprehensive orientation program. The
program includes: testing, placement,
advising, a tour of campus, overnight
camping trip, and a Seattle trip. For

“Calendar
of Activities” to see a three week
schedule of events.
Family Welcome and Orientation
We invite family members of new students
to come and join us for a special welcome
and orientation. Here are the details:
- When: Friday – September
11, 2009
- Where: Student Center
- Time: 8:00 a.m. Orientation
check-in with students
- What: Meet International
Programs Staff; Overview of International
Program Services; Overview of US
Education System; Campus Tour; Lunch
with students and staff; Driving
Tour of Auburn Area & Shopping.
Arrive back on Campus at 4:30 p.m.
Pre-arrival Registration for New
Academic Students
Applicants who have demonstrated
proof of academic-level English proficiency
can register for academic classes before
they arrive on campus. This gives them
a jump start on getting this classes
they need to have a successful start
their first quarter.
For your students who have not demonstrated
English proficiency as part of the admission
process, please check with them to see
if they have taken or plan to take TOEFL,
IELTS or any of the
accepted proof of
proficiency as listed on our web
site.
As soon as we receive proof of English
proficiency, new students can get registered
for academic classes they need to have
a successful start their first quarter.

Our

is now available in Chinese,
Indonesian, Japanese and
Korean.

Student email address - New requirement
to obtain a US Student Visa
Student email will be required as
part of the F-1 student visa application
process March 2010.
