Important Dates

Spring Quarter: March through June 2013
Classes end June 14, 2013
Summer Quarter: June through August 2013
Housing move-in date June 17, 2013
Orientation and testing begins June 18, 2013
Classes start June 24, 2013
Classes end August 15, 2013
Fall Quarter: September through December 2013
Housing move-in date September 11 & 12, 2013
Orientation and testing begins September 13, 2013
Classes start September 23, 2013
Classes end December 13, 2013

New Payment Timeline for Current Students

Effective fall 2013, currently enrolled and returning academic international students will follow the same tuition payment and class drop schedule as domestic students.

Exempt Students: All new international students (academic and IESL) and current and returning full-time IESL students are exempt from this timeline. Their payment deadline will continue to be the first day of class.

Here is the fall quarter registration and payment timeline:

  • May 7 - Registration begins for currently enrolled and returning students
  • May 20 - Registration begins for new students
  • Aug 5- Fall tuition is due in full

Director of Int'l Recruitment hired - Bjorn Myhre

Bjorn Myhre was hired as our new Director of International Recruitment. His first day will be May 13th. Bjorn will manage recruitment primarily in Indonesia and other assigned regions.

He comes to us from Pacific Lutheran University where he has been an admission counselor for three years. Prior to PLU, Bjorn worked as high school Social Studies teacher both locally and for two years at the Tec de Monterrey Campus Laguna in Mexico. Bjorn has a MA in Education from PLU and a BA in Political Science from the University of Wisconsin - Eau Claire.

Bjorn will be attending NAFSA, so do let us know if you are planning to attend so that we can introduce you to our new GRCC team member.

Apply Early for Campus Corner Apartments for fall quarter

If Campus Corner Apartments is the first choice for housing for your fall quarter applicants, encourage them to apply for housing as soon as possible. Placement priority is based on date of received completed housing application, including the $300 placement fee. We typically have a waiting list for fall quarter. Apply early!
