DRUM ROLL PLEASE……Announcing a change in the Host Family Shared Expense Rate!

Please note that as of September 1st, 2010 the monthly shared expense for students living with host families will increase to $625.00 US. Here is the policy:

• New incoming students will be charged the new rate as of the day they arrive to your home. However, remember that you will be receiving a $100 deposit for the first month from GRCC. So the first amount you collect will be $525 not $625. But all consecutive months will be the full amount.
   
• Current students now living with you will be asked to pay the new rate on their usual pay date in September. So if they normally pay their shared expense on the 11th they would not be charged the new rate until September 11th.

We had a great turn out for the host family meeting, thank you to those who took the time and showed up! I have included links for the fall quarter first 2 week calendar and to the PowerPoint from the meeting. The PowerPoint is just bare bones you will not get the full benefit from the meeting so ask a host that did attend
