Orientation

At orientation new students make friends and have fun before classes start.

To insure you get a successful start to your studies at Green River, our comprehensive orientation is required for all new international students. At orientation, you will get information about: our campus, housing, registration, e-mail, student ID cards, transportation, health insurance, immigration, and ways to have fun and make new friends.  We also offer an overnight camp and a trip to Seattle as part of our orientation.

Students and faculty dress casually at GRCC. A typical and acceptable winter outfit might be jeans and a pullover or shirt; in the summer when the weather is warm, many students wear shorts to class. A rain jacket is a good item to have any time of the year.
