Green River College International Programs

Student Life

Mamta Melwani - Singapore

“As International Student Ambassador, I help you settle into the new country, culture and education system. I plan special events like Orientation, Lunar New Year, the Halloween party and more to help you build new friendships while settling into school.”

  • International Student Ambassador
  • Major: Economics and Finance.
Kevin Kim - South Africa

“I am the Outdoor Programs Coordinator and my job is to create events for students that help them relax after classes, as well as learn more about American culture. As an international student, I would highly recommend getting involved in Student Life activities. Besides studying hard, taking part in school activities is one of the quickest ways to learn new things. For example, a hiking trip is not only an outdoor activity, but also a way to learn more about Washington state. Green River's Student Life will bring you good experiences during the time you study here.”
