Thanh Van Nguyen: Vietnam
Thanh Van Nguyen is majoring in
electrical engineering and is
transferring to Georgia Tech in
the fall 2009.
Green River was a remarkable
transition for me. The faculty and advisors
are all compassionate, encouraging,
and dedicated to helping their students
excel academically.
Green River also gave me a positive
college experience through its plentiful
services and opportunities. Through
the
High School Plus program, most of
the classes I took were double-counted
for college and high school credits,
making completion of an associate degree
and high school diploma accessible within
a timeframe of two years.
After Green River, I will complete
my undergraduate study at Georgia Institute
of Technology majoring in Electrical
Engineering.
Science has been my lifelong passion,
so majoring in Electrical Engineering
is no surprising decision to my parents.
