Take Advantage of Early Registration
for Academic Classes
Green River, like most colleges in
the US, is experiencing high enrollment.
It is more important than ever for international
students take advantage of the opportunity
to register as early as possible for
academic classes.
Students who submit proof of academic
English Proficiency are eligible for
early registration for academic classes.
You can take advantage of this opportunity
by letting us know if you have taken
TOEFL, IELTS or any of the accepted
proof of proficiency as listed on our
web site: http://www.greenriver.edu/international/admission/requirements.shtm.
As soon as we receive proof of English
proficiency, our advisors will register
you for classes for your first quarter
at GRCC. You will have your classes
before arriving at GRCC!
Question of the Month. Answers to
questions from prospective international
students:
Every month the college receives
questions from prospective students
around the world. A new feature in the
newsletter will be the “Question
of the Month”. This month’s question
is:
What activities are available
for International Students?
Answer:
The higher education system in the USA believes there is more to college than attending classes, studying and taking exams. Much of what you learn in college comes from experiences outside the classroom. The College has a department called Student Programs that organizes and promotes out of class activities.
There is something going on every day including the weekends, It is easy to get involved with other students who share your interests. The majority of the programs provide opportunities for high quality fun at a low cost. From your first day on campus to your last day on campus there is an activity or program for you.
