Green River Students Transfer to Top US Universities
GRCC graduates with accounting instructor, Brenda Bindschatel.
Green River welcomed a record number of new international students to the college this fall. We look forward to congratulating them in one, two or three years when they graduate and move on to top US universities.
As the global economic turmoil continues with roller coaster stock markets and dramatic currency fluctuations, families around the world are concerned about the present financial situation as well as uncertainty about the future. During these difficult times, what is certain is that US university education is a solid investment.
Studies show that university graduates earn more than students who do not go on to university. Families who invest today in university education for their children set their children up for success
in tomorrow's global economy. A degree from a top US university is proven to hold its value over time and around the world.
The United States remains the world leader in higher education. According to the 2010
Academic Ranking of World Universities (ARWU) 17 of the top 20 universities in the world are US institutions.
