Mingze Sun
is from China. He is
majoring in civil engineering
and at 19 years old, transferring to
Cornell University this coming
fall.
"The reason I came to the USA
to study is because I like travelling
and experiencing different cultures, and
the USA has the best university system of
the entire world. I chose Green
River Community College because the tuition
is way lower than four-year universities
and it offers me the chance to transfer
to good universities because of its
good reputation."
"My best memory here
at GRCC was when I was a member of
the Resident
Hall Association. We went to
Illinois to attend the National Association
of College and University Residence
Halls (NACURH) meeting. It was fantastic!
We spent a week there discussing all
kinds of questions raised by all these
colleges and universities related to
campus housing. I learned a lot and
I really enjoyed that time. Best memory
ever!!

advisor
Kirsten Weber helped me a lot. Whenever I
had questions
or concerns, I could always go to her
and she would always give me good advice.
I really appreciate all her help these
two years.
