Dear Prospective Student, 

We are looking forward to seeing you on campus. Information in this section will make your transition to GRCC easier.

Important Dates
It is important to be present for Housing Move-In Day and Orientation prior to the start of classes. If you are unable to attend please notify us as soon as possible.

Summer Quarter
Application deadline - May 15, 2008
Housing move-in date - June 15, 2008
Orientation - June 16, 2008
Classes start - June 23, 2008
Classes end - August 15, 2008

Fall Quarter
Application deadline - August 15, 2008
Housing move-in date - Sept. 11, 2008
Orientation - Sept. 12, 2008
Classes start - Sept. 22, 2008
Classes end - Dec. 12, 2008
 

High School Plus: Same Program, New Name
We have changed the name of our “High School Completion” program to “High School Plus”. The reason we changed the name was to better communicate that students take academic, college-level classes that count toward their high school diploma plus university transfer. The program is the same; only the name has changed.

University Transfer Workshops for International Students
 In addition to providing one-on-one assistance in developing individual Transfer Plans for all students, our International Student Advisors host three transfer workshops during the quarter:

  •  “How to Search for University Workshop”
  • “What classes should I take”
  • “Completing Admission Application”

These workshops give students information and expert advice on how to select and apply to their chosen universities.
