After spending some quality Thanksgiving time catching up on their studies and eating well, the Green River women's and men's basketball teams begin December prepared to play in the many pre-season tournament offerings.

The women will play host school Bellevue College at 7 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 6, at the Bulldog Invitational. The three-day event will feature two teams from each Northwest Athletic Association of Community Colleges region, including the 2013 NWAACC champion Lane Community College of Eugene, Ore.
