BSN Program Information

Embark on your journey to a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) at Green River College, where our LPN to BSN program offers a seamless transition for aspiring nurses. This two-year, eight-quarter program commences each fall, providing a comprehensive and structured path for LPNs looking to advance their careers.

  • Two-year, eight-quarter program starting each fall and concluding in the summer.
  • Admits 32 students per year.
  • The BSN application cycle runs from February 1st to 4pm on April 1st each year.

Costs

  • Tuition: Approximately $14,000 for the two-year program (excluding fees and supplies). Details here.
  • Fees: Around $2,400 cover lab equipment, clinical requirements, and course materials.
  • Nursing Supplies: Roughly $185 (scrubs, scrub patches, name pin, stethoscope, etc.).
  • Immunizations: Approximately $35+.
  • Insurance: $20 per year for student liability insurance.
  • Other Costs: Varying expenses for drug screening, BLS certification, state board fees, and technology requirements.

BSN Accreditation

The Green River College LPN-BSN Program is pursuing accreditation from the National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA), located at 2600 Virginia Avenue, NW, 8th Floor, Washington, DC 20037; phone 202-909-2487. Interested parties are invited to submit third-party comments in writing directly to NLN CNEA, attention Dr. Teresa Shellenbarger, NLN CNEA Executive Director, no later than May 6, 2024 to cneaaccreditation@nln.org.
