Phlebotomy (PHLEB)

Nursing Students

Complete Green River's phlebotomy program in three months, then immediately start your entry-level, living-wage healthcare career.

Ninety hours of class time prepares students with the knowledge, experience, exposure and confidence to collect blood from patients.

We offer a full-time evening class option.

In the classroom

Green River phlebotomy students graduate in a single quarter with confidence because they learn the necessary skills in an intense, face-paced clinical setting.

Face-to-face education focuses on student success in the classroom. Attentive instructors teach their lessons in all modalities, engaging all students by sight, audio and hands-on activities.

A workplace-consistent learning environment prepares students for an easy transition and success with workflow laboratory practices.

Additional learning resources found on Canvas, the student portal, provides valuable learning tools and access to grades at the student’s convenience.

Externships

Classroom learning becomes real practice during an externship. Green River has longstanding relationships with locations in the greater Seattle, Tacoma and Eastside areas. The instructor matches each student individually with their clinical site.
