GRC to host pop up COVID-19 vaccination clinics

Green River College will host community pop-up COVID-19 vaccination clinics on its main Auburn campus from 11 a.m. - 3 p.m. on August 23, September 17 and October 11 in the River Room, located in the Mel Lindbloom Student Union. The event is co-hosted by GRC and the International Community Health Services (ICHS).

Green River launches new Susan Burton (Re)Entry Scholarship for system-impacted students, donor pledges to match up to $10,000

The Green River College Foundation and GRC (Re)Entry program recently launched a new scholarship for system-impacted students, in part thanks to a generous match by Susan Burton, founder of A New Way of Life Reentry Project and One Book author.

GRC to host Covid-19 Pop-Up Vaccination Clinic May 3, 3 p.m. - 7 p.m.

Green River College, in collaboration with the Equity in Education Coalition, will host a community Covid-19 vaccine clinic on the main Auburn campus on May 3 from 3 p.m. - 7 p.m. to support and serve our South King County communities.

Photo Feature: GRC Provides Fuel Through Finals

Green River College has partnered with United Way of King County and Spectra to deliver more than 1,200 hot meals to GRC students completing finals remotely as part of the Fuel Through Finals program Dec. 8-10. The meals, which are free to participating students, are prepared at the Gator Grill and then delivered via DoorDash.

The Helen S. Smith Gallery Now Featuring the Works of Gary Oliveria

Early on in the project, Gary directed and collaborated with his family when he saw the right moment, interesting light or a particular expression. Later, he watched and documented their self-awareness and creativity as they tried on the different roles of their identity. The most recent work is a combination of these ideas along with a visual record of progression and change.

Public Notice of NWCCU Accreditation Visit to Green River College (April 29-May 1, 2020)

The Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities (NWCCU) will perform a comprehensive accreditation evaluation visit to Green River College on April 29-May 1, 2020. The NWCCU evaluation team will meet with Green River students, faculty, staff and board of trustee members to evaluate the college's compliance with NWCCU accreditation standards and policies.

Helen S. Smith Gallery to open new exhibition, "Sin Tìtulo: Artist’s Portfolio Student Exhibition"

The Helen S. Smith Gallery at Green River College will open “Sin Tìtulo: Artist’s Portfolio Student Exhibition" Nov. 14 in the Holman Library with a reception scheduled from noon to 1 p.m. Dec. 5.
